“Salvation for a race, nation, or class must come from within. Freedom is never granted; it is won. Justice is never given; it is exacted. Freedom and justice must be struggled for by the oppressed of all lands and races, and the struggle must be continuous.”

Mara Hills Academy Earns District's #1 Spot on National Exams

Mara Hills Academy (MHA) students once again rise to the challenge, earning first place in the Narok District on the most recent Kenya national test scores. Just three months ago, MHA was in fifth place out of the 38 schools in the district. Now they are number one in each grade, from one to six.
The scores measure student content knowledge in five subjects: Math, Science, Swahili, English and Social Studies. In Kenya, students take the national test four times a year.
Students at MHA are competitive. They work hard so that they can become the best at their studies, as well at sports and other extracurricular activities. Over the past six months, they have won district and regional championships in volleyball, netball, dance and public speaking. They love school, and they are committed to doing the very best they can while they have the opportunity to be in school. Thank you, donors, for giving these girls a chance to reach their full potential.
